Flash Mobs: Dancing in the Streets

I love the whole social phenomenon of Flash Mobs. It just boggles my mind how droves upon droves of people can converge in one location by use of social networks and text messages to perform a dance, sometimes very highly choreographed, sometimes not.

Flash Mobs were first started by Bill Wasik, the editor of Harper's Magazine in 2003.
Mr. Wasik said the mobs started as a kind of playful social experiment meant to encourage spontaneity and big gatherings to temporarily take over commercial and public areas simply to show that they could. (1)

T-mobile's Flash Mob is not a true Flash Mob since it was preplanned and part of their adverts, but it's energy and spirit is so infectious that I wanted to share this.
